THE ROLE: Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a 3-month contract and provide hands-on support across financial reporting, month-end activities, and corporate accounting functions Key responsibilities include: Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including management, board, and stakeholder reporting Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and investigate key financial trends Prepare and post journal entries related to accruals, prepaids, amortization, and cost allocations Support the consolidation of multiple entities, including intercompany accounting and eliminations Assist with the preparation of financial statements, MD& A, and note disclosures under ASPE Contribute to quarterly and year-end reporting requirements Liaise with auditors and assist with audit deliverables and regulatory reporting requests Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and controls ABOUT YOU:
