As the successful candidate, you will have an important role in a large clinical and research-based program that strives to be the world leader in transplantation medicine/surgery. You will work with a team of clinicians and clinician-scientists.Working under supervision of senior staff, the Research Analyst II exercises moderate judgment and decision-making in utilizing established policies and procedures to determine work methods and resolve problems.



This includes conducting literature searches/reviews for new proposals, coordinating necessary data flow both internally and externally with collaborators from other sites, maintaining regulatory documents, participating in department review of data collection strategies, generating response curves, status reports, and other statistical reports as required, assisting in the preparation of submissions to the Research Ethics Board, functioning as a resource in planning, implementing and evaluating a full range of programs and services that support education research and scholarly activities and performing other duties consistent with job classification, as requested.DutiesCoordinate and manage clinical and research data collection activities within the Liver Transplant programConduct literature searches and reviews to support research proposals, manuscripts, and ongoing projectsDevelop, maintain, and organize research databases, datasets, and regulatory documentationLiaise with internal teams, external collaborators, and institutional departments regarding data flow and project coordinationAssist with Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions, amendments, and study documentationParticipate in the review and implementation of data collection strategies and quality assurance processesGenerate statistical summaries, reports, response curves, and other research-related outputs as requiredSupport education, research, and scholarly activities within the Ajmera Transplant Centre and perform related duties as assignedQualificationsAt minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Science requiredAt minimum, three (3)



years related experienceExperience using statistical analysis and data management software applications requiredAbility to apply a range of fundamental research principals, theories, concepts and techniques relating to data collection and managementDemonstrates excellent competency in written and verbal communicationsHighly developed computer and Internet skills; R and SQL considered anasset.
