Senior Piping EngineerLocation: Ontario Offices, ideally in northern Ontario.ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical piping design packages from concept development through detailed engineering, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with project goals.Develop piping systems, specifications, calculations, and deliverables that support safe, reliable, and high‐performing operations for mining, metals, heavy industrial clients.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping design with process, structural, electrical, controls, and construction requirements.Review designs, drawings, and engineering documents to ensure quality, constructability, and adherence to industry codes and best practices.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to intermediate and junior engineers, supporting team growth and capability development.Engage directly with clients, contractors, and internal partners to solve complex technical challenges and advance project delivery.Required QualificationsUniversity Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.At least 15+ years of piping engineering experience in mining and heavy industrial projects.Hold (or be eligible for) a Skilled Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada.Proven experience solving real‐world engineering challenges, from equipment specification to system design and integration.Comfortable working in the field or onsite as needed and adheres to all safety requirements.Working proficiency with mechanical design and modeling tools and continuously grows technical toolkit.CompensationAB, BC,



NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 – $162,800MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111,000 – $147,400The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
