Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join a busy Oil & Gas team in Calgary on a long-term contract.

This role supports high-volume credit requests, customer onboarding, order reviews, and credit decisions while working closely with finance, collections, invoicing, and sales teams.

Responsibilities: Review credit requests and sales orders, processing routine files and escalating higher-value approvals as required.

Manage a shared credit mailbox, prioritize requests, and maintain timely follow-up on outstanding items.

Assess customer creditworthiness using credit reports, references, monitoring tools, and financial information.

Set up current customer accounts and maintain accurate documentation and records.

Collaborate with invoicing, collections, master data, and sales teams to gather information and resolve account issues.

Maintain tracking documents for credit activity, approvals, and account details.

Use Excel and other tools to organize data and support daily credit analysis.

Communicate credit decisions, escalations, and rationale clearly to internal stakeholders.

Support the transition of credit reference and customer data management activities into the role.
