As a Health Care Aide, you will be supervised by a Licensed Practical Nurse while working in a diverse community dedicated to excellent care. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with bathing, feeding, and other daily activities, all with an emphasis on safety and dignity. You will communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist resident hygiene according to planned procedures
• Support safe transfers using designated equipment
• Help with feeding and meal support as needed
• Provide necessary skin and general treatments
• Encourage resident participation in activities and therapy
Requirements:
• One year of relevant experience preferred
• Completion of PCA/HCA Certificate required
• Fluency in both oral and written English
• Registration with CLHA is necessary
• Post-secondary education is favorable
