Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for a leading mobility and transportation technology client.

This individual will play a key role in evolving the organization's QA practice and expanding automated testing capabilities using Tricentis Tosca.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of automation and manual testing expertise while supporting customer-facing mobile apps, web applications, APIs, connected devices, and real-world vehicle platforms.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative mobility solutions that directly impact users throughout the Lower Mainland.

The successful candidate will help drive automation strategy, execute risk-based testing, support production stability, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Develop risk-based test strategies, plans, and coverage approaches
Design, maintain, and troubleshoot automated tests in Tricentis Tosca
Execute manual and automated testing across mobile, web, API, IoT, and vehicle platforms
Monitor regression suites and investigate failures/issues
Perform real-world testing on Evo vehicles, e-bikes, and e-scooters
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
Collaborate with developers, product teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
Support production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system stability efforts
Improve QA automation practices, regression coverage, and testing efficiency

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of QA, software testing, or systems testing experience
5+ years of hands-on test automation experience, including framework development/implementation
1+ year experience in a Senior QA or QA Lead capacity
Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca automation testing
Robust mix of both manual and automation testing experience
Experience testing web, mobile, and API-based applications
Ability to create test strategies, execute regression testing, and analyze defects/root causes
Experience working in Agile/Dev

Ops environments
Valid driver's license and willingness to test vehicles, e-bikes, and e-scooters
Ability to work hybrid onsite in Burnaby 3 days/week and lift mobility equipment up to 80+ lbs Tricentis Tosca certification or formal training
Experience implementing or scaling Tosca automation programs
IoT, automotive, transportation, mobility, or connected-device testing experience
API testing using Postman
Java

Script knowledge
SQL experience
QA tooling, utilities, or productivity automation experience
Interest in AI-assisted testing and emerging technologies
Startup or fast-paced product environment experience
Familiarity with Evo Car Share as a customer/user
