A Great Fit for Illumination We’re looking for a therapist who:
- Holds a Master’s or PhD in Social Work or Psychology
- Has 5+ years of experience supporting individuals, families and/or relationships within the mental health field
- Has significant experience in one or more of the following areas: neurodivergence, addictions, eating disorders, or children & youth
- Has additional training in IFS, EMDR or ACT — an asset
- Brings a collaborative spirit and enjoys learning from others, sharing their knowledge, and contributing to a supportive team
- Has the capacity to commit to approximately 9-15 client hours per week, with the opportunity to build toward a fuller caseload over time
- Has a genuine passion for the work and care for the clients they support
- Is willing to contribute to building and maintaining their practice through networking,



community engagement and occasional marketing initiatives
- Holds current professional liability/malpractice insurance

The Practical Details This is an independent contractor position, which means you will:
- Maintain your own professional liability insurance
- Manage your own accounting and bookkeeping
- Track and submit monthly invoices
- Provide your own computer
- Be comfortable working independently and managing your own caseload
- Have familiarity with Jane App — an asset, but not required
