Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Travel Agent with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience and a valid TICO license. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates deep destination knowledge, and is committed to delivering outstanding service to a discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and sell customized travel itineraries including luxury, and group travel
- Provide expert advice on destinations, accommodations, transportation, and travel insurance
- Manage bookings, changes, cancellations, and travel documentation with accuracy
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Stay up to date with industry trends, supplier offerings, and travel regulations
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams and preferred suppliers to deliver premium experiences
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a travel agent or travel consultant
- Valid TICO (Travel Industry Council of Ontario) license is required
- Strong knowledge of global destinations, airlines, and booking systems.
- Proven sales ability with a customer-first mindset
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
