Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver - Class 1,

Looking for Experience Drivers that can operate 18 speed manula transmissions,

We are looking for diverse individuals that can haul oversize loads up to includding 13 axle double drop heavy haul to dry/reefer vans

Must be able to enter the US and travel between Quebec and Alberta

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security (Electronic Daily Inspections)
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs (ELD), delivery receipts, and inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Perform routine maintenance or minor repairs on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Assist with inventory management by verifying freight loads and ensuring proper placement within the truck

Experience





- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 license
- Experience driving manual transmissions
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and automotive repair basics is preferred
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation and heavy equipment use
- Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
