Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Duties:
- Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations - Load and unload goods - Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes - Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials - Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment - Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle - Receive and relay information to central dispatch - Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption - Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo - May drive special purpose trucks such as tow trucks, dump trucks, hydrovac trucks or cement mixing trucks Requirements:
- Education:Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience:At least 1 year of experience is required.
- Be eligible to obtain a class 1 MELT license.

- Mileage paid.

- Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.
Important information: The worker will be required to work on average 5 – 6 days per week, 8- or 10- hour shifts per day. Days off are provided upon request on a rotational basis. Since our business operations are continuous, work on weekends, overnights and statutory holidays is required.
