About Our School

Goldenlink Academy is a private coeducational day school in Markham, Ontario, offering accredited courses for Grades 9-12 and granting the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Since 2015, we have provided small classes, personalized attention, and a wide range of academic and enrichment programs.

In addition to afterschool courses and seasonal camps, we offer services such as university application support and study permit assistance, creating a supportive and engaging environment where every student can thrive.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and student-focused University Application Advisor to support our students throughout the university application process.

The successful candidate will provide individualized guidance on university planning, school and program selection, application strategy, application materials, personal statements, and application deadlines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting students through Canadian and U.S. university applications and a solid understanding of university admissions requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individualized university planning,



including university/program selection and application strategy.
- Guide students through applications, essays, supporting documents, deadlines, and submission requirements.
- Communicate with students and parents regarding application progress, strategies, and university options.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
- Relevant experience in university application advising, university admissions, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. university admissions and application platforms such as OUAC and Common App.
- Excellent communication, organization, and English writing skills, with strong attention to detail.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
