Workplace Safety Insurance Board Act (WSIB), Human Rights and Employment Standards Act (ESA); Participates in Health & Safety training provided by the YWCA; Attends and participates in staff/team meetings; Ensures compliancewith YWCA Hamilton policies and procedures; Maintains highlevel of confidentiality/privacy when working with client information; Understands emerging trends, leading practices, industry professional standards; Supports the YWCA Hamilton mission, vision and values; Performs otherduties as required.Working ConditionsWorks 35 -hour work week; Travel may be required; Ability to usefrequent medium to heavy physical effort: lifting up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs.), bending, stooping and walking.QualificationsEnrolled in or completed post-secondary education in Business Administration, Social Services or a related field (or equivalent experience); Experience with developing Outreach Plans; Robust understanding of Community Services in the Hamilton Region; Must have current Emergency First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain at own cost; Must have ability to lead and work from a feminist, anti-racist / anti-oppressive perspective for operations and strategic planning; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Must provide acurrent Criminal record Judicial Matters or willingness to obtain at own cost; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and also work effectively in a team; Bilingual English/French or other languages an asset.Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle an asset; EEO and AccommodationAs part of YWCA Hamilton’s commitment to Access and Equity, we strive to represent the diverse communities that we serve.
