- Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2 days per week - Mondays and Tuesdays.)

- Pay Rate: $48.68/hr - $56.27/hr

- Contract Length: 12 Months with possibility for extension

Responsibilities

- Manage vendor contracting lifecycle processes from ideation through to execution, and portfolio management of third party suppliers (30+)

- Quote meter audits – working with external market exchanges to manage audit requests and audit reports, as required

- Ensure compliance to CIBC procurement standards, intakes, and third-party risk assessment (TPRA) process

- Management of documentation – maintaining centralized library of contracting documents - including NDAs, intake submissions, RFIs, RFPs, onboarding documentation, invoices, etc.

- Liaising with internal procurement, governance, operation & audit groups to ensure compliance standards are maintained for all third party suppliers

- Working with procurement on pricing negotiations with vendors, onboarding new vendors, working with contract services group to draft contracts and amendments

- Completion of required market data documentation (i.e.: market data questionnaires, exhibits, schedules, investment dealer forms, etc.)

- Coordination and circulation of draft contracts/agreements with key stakeholders – securing approvals

- Drafting executive summaries for budget owner approvals

- Ensure compliance with procurement best practices while achieving best value from vendors

- External vendor relationship management





- Working with internal business groups across Wealth – including product owners, leadership team, operations, risk teams, marketing, technology, mid-office, market data services, finance, procurement, market data services (MDS) etc.
- seeking guidance from internal and external legal counsel when required

- Mediate and facilitate resolution of IMFs (issues management form) and risks that arise throughout the contracting process

- Overall portfolio management and vendor performance monitoring – alerting stakeholders of upcoming renewals and contract expirations

- Contributing to vendor performance score card data, overall contract tracker & vendor expenses, planning and forecasting for fiscal year cycles (both retail business and contact centre)

- Contribution to vendor strategic planning and analysis – tracking costs (and increases), finding greater value from suppliers and recommending cost savings

- Process improvement recommendations and aligning synergies internally within CIBC

- Competitive intelligence (how are other brokers using the same market data and research on their platforms, new products, services, etc.)

Must Have Requirement

- ~3+ years’ experience with vendor management and contract lifecycle management.

- Experience supporting procurement processes and third-party/vendor governance activities.

- Experience coordinating or supporting Third Party Risk Assessments (TPRA).





- Exceptional organizational and documentation management skills.

- Robust project management skills and familiarity with project management methodologies (JIRA, Kanban, Agile, etc.)

Nice To Have

- Experience using TPRA platforms such as Archer, Coupa Risk Assess, or similar systems.

- Experience with procurement systems and workflows.

- Prior experience within online brokerage environments and/or prior FI experience.

- Experience working with market data and industry research vendors.
