Massilly North America is expanding! We are currently building a brand-new, state-of-the-art 3-piece cans manufacturing factory in Brantford, Ontario.
We are seeking our very first technical talent to join this greenfield plant. As a foundational member of our technical team, you will not just operate machinery, you will be at the forefront of an exciting commissioning phase, bringing brand-new equipment online and shaping the future of our production facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Commissioning & Maintenance: Lead the initial setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of brand-new metal container production machinery.
- Line Supervision: Monitor 3-piece manufacturing lines, controlling process and product parameters to minimize downtime.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with quality, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Continuous Improvement: Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and propose process improvements to optimize production.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to ensure plant efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Technical Background: Vocational training, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in mechanics, electromechanics, electrical fields, or a related discipline.
- Industry Experience: Proven technical experience in metal container or 3-piece can manufacturing is required.
- Greenfield Mindset: Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive attitude toward setting up new production lines and workflows.
- Language Skills: Proficiency or basic knowledge in Spanish is highly valuable to facilitate training and collaboration with our team in Spain.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, a cooperative teamwork mindset, and strong coordination capabilities.
