Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on vehicles using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct welding and assembly tasks to repair or modify vehicle components as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, or replace parts
- Lift heavy components safely during repairs and maintenance procedures
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used for each vehicle service
- Assist with vehicle inspections,
ensuring all safety standards are met before returning vehicles to customers
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience in an automotive repair environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Skilled in welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely during maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients
- Experience with automotive repair software or diagnostic systems is a plus
- Valid certification as a 310S Automotive Technician
