Job Summary

As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end installation, replacement, and commissioning of residential HVAC systems. Your daily work will center on replacing and upgrading furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and water heaters. You will work alongside an installation assistant or apprentice, ensuring every job is completed safely, up to Ontario code, and to our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and replace residential equipment, including gas furnaces, central air conditioning units, air-source heat pumps, ductless mini-split systems, and tank/tankless water heaters.
- Run and connect gas piping, venting, electrical wiring, low-voltage controls, and refrigeration lines lines according to manufacturer specs and Ontario codes.
- Perform system start-ups and commissioning, checking gas pressures, airflow, and refrigerant charges to ensure peak performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site,



respecting the homeowner's property at all times.
- Explain system operations, smart thermostats, and basic maintenance to customers before leaving the site.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Gas Fitter 2 (G2) license required.
- Valid 313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license required.
- Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
- 2+ years of residential installation experience (furnaces, ACs, mini-splits, and water heaters).
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.
- Working knowledge of sheet metal, duct modifications, and residential venting practices.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting, ladders, and crawl spaces.
- Robust customer-facing communication skills.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
