Hey folks , Ace courier is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a 5 ton delivery truck . This position requires heavy lifting, excellent customer service skills, and a valid class 5 driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or hand trucks
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues
Qualifications:
- Valid class 5 driver's license (CDL)
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Ability to lift heavy objects 75 pounds maximum and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
