Convergence Networks is looking for an experienced Account Manager to build strong client relationships, drive customer success, and support the adoption of our IT and cybersecurity services. The Account Manager serves as a trusted advisor, helping clients achieve business outcomes while ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
What You'll Do
Customer Success & Growth
- Drive customer engagement and adoption of Convergence Networks services.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and value discussions with customers and CN leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, champions, and influencers.
- Advocate for customer needs across internal teams.
Customer Retention
- Own customer retention and contract renewal efforts.
- Identify and address risks that could impact customer satisfaction or lead to churn.
- Partner with Customer Success leadership to create and execute account strategies.
Account & Service Management
- Serve as the primary contact for escalations, requests, billing questions, and quoting needs.
- Coordinate customer meetings, working sessions, and escalation calls.
- Promote self-service tools and resources to improve the customer experience.
- Manage the transition from onboarding to ongoing account management for new customers.
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of managed services, IT, and cybersecurity environments.
- Ability to navigate multiple internal teams to resolve customer issues.
- Effective communicator who can confidently discuss services, value, and customer outcomes.
- Strong relationship management and objection-handling skills.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of account management or client relationship experience.
- 2+ years working in MSP, IT, or cybersecurity industries.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Work Environment
- Primarily office and computer-based work.
- Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
- May require travel to client or company locations.
- Occasional after-hours support, travel, or peak-period work.
- Frequent communication with customers and internal teams through meetings, phone, and email.
