WAVE 98.3 – Vancouver’s Coolest Vibe is known for its mix of contemporary favourites and smooth, sophisticated sound. We’re growing our presence and expanding our reach in Vancouver, and we’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Account Manager to join our sales team.

As an Account Manager with WAVE 98.3, you’ll develop and grow your own client base, helping Vancouver businesses connect with our expanding audience through creative campaigns across radio, digital, promotions and events.

What You’ll Do

· Prospect for and develop new business throughout the Vancouver market

· Build and maintain long-term relationships with local businesses and advertising partners

· Learn your clients’ businesses, goals and challenges and become a trusted marketing partner

· Develop customized advertising campaigns across radio, promotions, and events

· Present creative ideas and proposals and confidently ask for the business

· Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients

· Collaborate with our programming, promotions, and creative teams to bring campaigns to life

· Meet and exceed individual sales goals

What You Bring

· Sales experience, ideally in media, advertising, marketing, or a related field

· Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills

· Confidence prospecting and developing new business

· A self-starter mindset and the ability to work independently

· Curiosity about marketing, consumer behaviour and what makes businesses successful

· Strong organization and follow-through

· A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits across the Vancouver area





· An interest in music, media and the Vancouver business community

Compensation & Benefits

· Guaranteed earnings of $50,000 to start while you build your client base, transitioning to a commission-based structure with uncapped earning potential
