As the Accountant, you are an integral member of the Finance team, supporting the Controller and broader team in maintaining accurate financial records, reporting, tax compliance, and month-end and year-end processes. The role also involves coordinating with external accountants and auditors and ensuring financial matters are resolved accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare financial statements and reporting according to statutory compliance.
- Complete bank and other account reconciliations.
- Prepare daily sales summaries.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Prepare GST/PST tax returns and submit government tax remittances.
- Post intercompany transactions and ensure all entries and corresponding transactions are entered in the respective entities.
- Complete the month end close processes (preparation of journal entries, recurring entries and accruals).
- Prepare quarterly reporting and dashboards.




- Cash flow reporting and monitoring.
- Maintain paper and electronic filing systems to provide accurate records.
- Proactively resolve discrepancies and outstanding issues.
