Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Kronos, UltiPro, ADP, and UltiPro for data entry, transaction processing, and record keeping.
- Perform account reconciliations regularly to verify accuracy of financial data across different ledgers and systems.
- Assist with payroll processing using systems like ADP, Kronos, or Workday to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
- Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and preparing reports for management review.
- Maintain meticulous bookkeeping records and prepare financial reports in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Experience
- Proven experience working with various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, Workday or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation procedures.
- Familiarity with financial services industry standards is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of account analysis techniques and budgeting processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent math skills combined with attention to detail to ensure precise financial reporting.
- Prior experience working with HR/payroll systems like ADP or Ceridian is advantageous for seamless integration of payroll functions.
