Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial operations. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, support budgeting and reporting processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of our organization.

Duties

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform account reconciliations regularly to verify accuracy of financial data across various ledgers and systems like Workday, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, and ADP.
- Enter data accurately into accounting software and maintain organized records for audit purposes.
- Assist with payroll processing by verifying employee hours, deductions, and benefits through systems like ADP, Kronos, and UltiPro.
- Support budgeting activities by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and monitoring expenses using tools like SAP or similar platforms.




- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities; resolve issues promptly to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting projects and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Experience

- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft is essential.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation procedures, and data entry accuracy.
- Familiarity with payroll systems including ADP, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, or Workday is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in financial services or related fields demonstrating attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Basic math proficiency combined with the ability to interpret financial statements and perform account analysis effectively.
- Experience supporting budgeting processes and working with multiple accounting platforms will be considered an asset.
