Position Overview The Inland Group of Companies is seeking an Accounting Co-op Student for a 4-month contract term based at our Truro, NS Headquarters. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position provides hands-on experience within the accounting department of a multinational organization. The successful candidate will support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Corporate Accounting functions while contributing to month-end activities, audits, and special projects. Location: Truro HQ, NS

Essential Duties And Responsibilities (Including But Not Limited To)

- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with daily transaction processing and related activities
- Assist the Corporate Accounting team with routine accounting functions and administrative support




- Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support internal and external audit processes by gathering documentation and responding to requests
- Assist with accounting-related projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental commitments
- Promote a respectful, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment
- Adhere to company policies and maintain a high standard of integrity, efficiency, and professionalism

Required Skills And Experience

- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn current skills and expand accounting knowledge
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary accounting or related business program
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information professionally
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
