- Senior experience in academic advising, university applications, portfolio preparation, interview coaching and job search support, or equivalent background
- Master’s degree in Counselling, Education, or related training
- Proficient in administrating personal and career assessment tools
- Understand importance of referrals to personal, social and mental health services
- Strong social and emotional intelligence, ability to build rapport with high school, post-secondary students and recent graduates
- Motivated to work with a strong team of professionals and volunteers
- Positive outlook, and excited to be to be part of a small business with a big heart

Academic Advisor - Education Consultant description. Does this sound like a role you would enjoy?
- Provide one-on-one support to grade 10-12 and post-secondary students with advice,



assistance and supportive coaching
- Provide students with academic planning and support with competitive applications to post secondary institutions and programs
- Conduct interview training and one-on-one feedback on mock interviews
- Support individuals achieve their personal and academic goals
- Desire to work with a positive, strengths driven and holistic approach
- An opportunity to look beyond what’s right for business, to what’s right for society as a whole
