Looking for 1 seasonal worker for harvest 2026

Looking for 1 full time worker for 40hrs per week

Qualifications

- Enjoys working outdoors; strong work ethic; physically fit
- Ability to focus on task for prolonged period, paying attention to details
- Ability to listen to detailed instruction
- Able to work alone or in a group setting
- Reliable, able to put in extra hours when needed
- Self motivated, demonstrate a productive and positive attitude
- Handy with tools and materials, mechanically inclined
- Some work with animals
- Min 2 years Broiler Chicken Farm/Grain Farm Experience an asset
- Mechanical Skills an asset
- Equipment operation experience an asset




- Valid Class 1 drivers license an asset
- Must have valid class 5 license and clean driving record
- Own transportation
- Accomodation a possibility

Hours and Benefits

- Work will consist 40+ hours a week + evenings and weekends during seeding and harvest.
- Starting wage of $20-$25 per hour, depends on experience
- Job is permanent full time
- Start date is ASAP

- Daily broiler chicken barn work
- making chicken feed at on farm feed mill
- Shop work
- Basic mechanics
- Running augers, and smaller equipment
- General field work, including but not limited to manure spreading, tillage, tractor, disking, haying
- Participate actively in farm’s safety initiatives, policies, and bio security protocals
