OpenTeam is an AI startup helping businesses use AI and connected business applications to complete everyday work. We help customers organize information, streamline workflows, and put AI to practical use across their operations.
We are looking for a Junior AI Implementation Consultant who communicates clearly, understands business needs, and regularly uses AI tools to solve practical problems. You will work directly with customers and, with guidance from our team, help them get started with OpenTeam, connect supported applications, configure workflows, and learn to use them effectively.
If you regularly use ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or Claude Code for work, study, or personal projects—and enjoy asking questions, understanding how businesses operate, and helping people—this role could be a good fit.
Prior OpenTeam experience is not required. Programming, API development, and Linux administration are not required. We provide product training and implementation guidance. Our engineering team handles custom development and underlying system integrations.
With support from our team, you will:
- Understand customer needs. Participate in customer meetings, ask thoughtful questions, and document existing workflows, challenges, and desired outcomes. Help identify the information needed, people involved, business rules, and approval steps.
- Help customers connect business applications. Guide customers through connecting applications supported by OpenTeam, such as Outlook, Microsoft 365, and accounting software. Assist with basic setup and explain the steps through calls or screen-sharing sessions.
- Configure practical AI workflows. Use customer requirements, existing templates, and team guidance to set up workspaces, tasks, and reusable workflows for email organization, information extraction, reporting, customer follow-up, and financial document processing.
- Document requirements and coordinate next steps. Keep clear records of agreed priorities, implementation scope, responsibilities, and outstanding questions. Explain requirements to engineering colleagues when a customer needs a new connector or custom functionality.
- Support testing and acceptance. Check results against customer-approved examples and expected outcomes. Identify missing information, errors, and exceptions, document issues clearly, and follow through on resolution.
- Train customers and support everyday use. Demonstrate workflows, prepare straightforward instructions, answer application questions, and collect feedback to improve the customer experience.
- Help improve our implementation process. Contribute to reusable templates, customer guides, and internal notes as we learn from each project.
For example, a real estate company may want to organize invoices received in Outlook and bring the relevant information into its accounting system. You would help clarify invoice types, property or project allocation, required information, and approval steps. You would then support workflow configuration, coordinate any technical requirements with engineering, and help the customer test and use the process. We are looking for someone who brings:
- Strong communication skills. You listen carefully, ask useful follow-up questions, explain steps in plain language, and summarize decisions and next actions accurately.
- Business sense and analytical thinking. You look beyond the initial request to understand the business purpose. You can organize a process into clear steps, notice missing information, and help define what a successful result looks like.
- Practical AI proficiency. You regularly use one or more AI tools to complete tasks with useful outputs. You can break down a problem, provide context and reference materials, refine instructions, and check results for accuracy and completeness.
- Confidence learning business software. You are comfortable learning new applications, navigating settings, organizing files and spreadsheets,
and guiding another person through a task.
- Attention to detail and ownership. You keep clear records, follow through on commitments, communicate progress, and recognize when to involve a customer, business owner, or engineering colleague.
- A willingness to learn and adapt. You are comfortable asking for help, applying feedback, and working with a small team as products and processes develop.
Helpful experience, though not required, includes:
- Customer service, customer success, operations support, business analysis, software implementation, or user training.
- Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft 365, CRM platforms, accounting software, or other business applications.
- Exposure to real estate, property management, finance, or administrative workflows.
- Examples of improving a practical task or process using AI or no-code tools.
We welcome recent graduates, career changers, and applicants with relevant customer service or operations experience. Practical examples from work, study, and personal projects are all welcome. You will receive OpenTeam product training, implementation guidance, and engineering support. Initially, you will join customer meetings, document requirements, configure workflows using templates, and assist with testing. As your skills develop, you will gradually take responsibility for small, clearly scoped customer workflows.
We measure progress through clear requirements, reliable follow-up, careful testing, and customers’ ability to use the delivered workflows successfully. You will also have opportunities to help shape our customer guides and implementation practices as the company grows.
To apply, please submit your resume through Indeed and include a brief example of a practical problem you solved using AI. Tell us:
- What the problem was and what you wanted to achieve.
- Which AI tools you used and how you approached the task.
- What challenges you encountered and how you adjusted your approach.
- What the result was and how you checked its quality.
Please use examples you have permission to share and remove confidential information. The interview process will include a 15–20 minute customer scenario exercise focused on your questions, business understanding, judgment when using AI, and communication skills. No coding test is required.
