Roles and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join a leading financial institution for a 12-month contract prospect. In this senior technology role, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and governing application architectures across complex enterprise systems. You will ensure that application solutions are scalable, secure, high-performing, and fully aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and infrastructure partners to drive end-to-end architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, design, and establish application architecture frameworks across complex enterprise platforms.
- Ensure all technical solutions align with corporate security, performance,
scalability, and compliance standards.
- Drive architectural governance and technical best practices throughout the application lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Product Owners, Development Teams, and Infrastructure teams.
- Guide development teams using Agile methodologies and technical delivery tooling.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in Application/Enterprise Architecture.
- Agile Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with Agile frameworks and tooling, specifically Jira .
