Duties

- Assist senior carpenters in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate project execution.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, siding, and concrete forming.
- Support concrete finishing tasks and concrete forming processes to ensure smooth surfaces and proper structural support.
- Participate in heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a protected and organized work environment.




- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when trained and authorized to do so under supervision.
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures using woodworking and welding techniques.

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of construction principles or previous construction experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with guidance.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques is a plus.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols diligently while operating tools or heavy equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are highly valued.
- Prior experience with drywall installation, siding work, concrete finishing or welding is advantageous but not mandatory.
