We are looking for an ambitious, personable and highly motivated Architectural & Design Sales Representative to join our team and help grow our presence throughout the Toronto/GTA market.

The OpportunityThis is a relationship-driven specification sales position focused on developing relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, builders and other key decision-makers.

Your primary objective will be to get Deco-Tile products specified and selected for new construction and renovation projects, from initial design concepts through to completion.

You will be responsible for developing new accounts, managing existing relationships and identifying large commercial and high-end residential opportunities.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting people, presenting products and turning relationships into successful projects.





Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, builders and design firms
- Prospect and develop current architectural and design accounts throughout the GTA
- Identify upcoming commercial and residential projects and develop them from the specification stage through completion
- Present and specify Deco-Tile’s products to architects and designers
- Conduct product presentations, showroom visits and sample/product demonstrations
- Assist clients with product selection, technical information and project requirements
- Prepare quotations, proposals and product recommendations
- Track projects, specifications and opportunities through the sales process
- Maintain accurate account and project information and provide regular sales activity reports
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve sales targets
- Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities
- Work closely with our showroom, purchasing, warehouse and management teams to ensure excellent customer service and successful project execution
