Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Armed Security Guard to uphold safety and security at our jewellery store in Brampton, Ontario. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding swiftly to incidents.

Due to the high-value nature of our business, we are looking for experienced security professionals who understand the importance of vigilance, customer safety, loss prevention, and maintaining a strong and skilled security presence.

Requirements

- Must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Armed-security applicants must possess all licences, authorizations, training, and certifications legally required for the armed duties assigned
- Previous security experience is strongly preferred
- Experience in jewellery stores, luxury retail, banks, high-value retail, or similar environments is an asset
- Must be professional, disciplined, observant, and reliable
- Excellent situational awareness and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies
- Must be available for 9-hour shifts
- Must have flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada





Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a highly visible and professional security presence
- Monitor customers, entrances, exits, and surrounding areas
- Assist with access control and loss-prevention procedures
- Monitor CCTV and security systems where assigned
- Identify and report suspicious behaviour or security concerns
- Conduct opening and closing security procedures as required
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents
- Maintain detailed incident and security reports
- Work closely with store management and employees
- Provide a professional and respectful experience for customers while maintaining strict security standards

What We Are Looking For We are looking for individuals who take security seriously and understand the responsibility involved in protecting customers, employees, jewellery, and other high-value assets.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Brampton, Ontario

Shift: 9 Hours

Operation: 7 Days a Week
