Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Stoney Creek, ON, supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch. This role assists with supervising staff, coordinating workflow, and ensuring efficient delivery of fleet sales, leasing, and upfitting services.
The Assistant Branch
Manager helps manage customer accounts, supports sales activities, prepares quotes, and follows up on inquiries to maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities include monitoring inventory, coordinating vehicle deliveries and upfitting schedules, and ensuring that safety, compliance, and quality standards are met. The role also involves handling basic administrative tasks, supporting branch reporting,
and working closely with the Branch Manager to implement process improvements and meet performance targets.
Qualifications
- Experience in branch operations, fleet services, automotive, or a related industry, with the ability to support day-to-day branch management.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering responsive, solution-oriented support to commercial clients.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including coordinating multiple projects, schedules, and deadlines in a rapid-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets) and comfort learning industry-specific systems or CRMs.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across sales, service, and operations teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment for handling issues related to inventory, logistics, and customer requests.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is an asset, including coaching staff and supporting performance and productivity goals.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred, along with the ability to work on-site in Stoney Creek, ON.
- Post-secondary education in business, management, or a related field is an asset, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
