We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager for the Morning Shift to lead our food service team with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during the morning shift, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Manage POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members including interviewing, training, and scheduling staff to optimize performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and hygiene standards at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with food ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients in accordance with food industry standards
- Support kitchen operations by supervising food serving, bartending (if applicable),



and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a positive environment for both staff and guests

Requirements

- Proven supervising or team management experience within the food service or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to lead by example in food safety practices, food handling, and hygiene standards
- Previous restaurant management experience preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
- Skilled in interviewing, training staff, and managing team schedules effectively
- Knowledge of food industry regulations including health codes and safety standards
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and high performance
