Position Description: We seek candidates who will pursue research in physical oceanography with a strong modelling, observational and/or theoretical component. The range of possible research areas includes (but is not limited to) ocean-atmosphere coupling, interactions with the cryosphere, coastal processes, arctic oceanography, dynamics, and the ocean’s role in climate and climate change.
Job Duties The successful applicant will develop an active research program, supervise graduate students, and have a robust commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Qualifications And Education Requirements A PhD in physical oceanography or a closely related field is required.
