Field Service Canada is seeking a driven and dedicated individual for the Audio Visual Integration Technician (Level 2) position.

Canada prides itself on a collaborative team, and the ideal candidate would work well with others during service and system commissioning The role involves a level of autonomy, with the candidate managing work loads within assigned deadlines, working with Project Managers to ensure all projects are delivered promptly and with high levels of integrity. With our national presence, travel will be required.The role will be based in the National Capital Region. Work alongside and under the direction of a Senior Technician,
Project Manager or Field Project Engineer Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain client systems Field Service .CA files, drawings, reports and configurations in both paper and electronic format Field installation of control programs (QSC, ETC Lighting, Crestron) – upload and download capability Field service support of networked devices (Switches, Routers, WAPs) Perform service/install tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to pulling cable, low voltage terminations, installing connectors, mounting projectors, and hanging ceiling mounts Local and out of town travel required (cost covered by FS) Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and colleagues ~ Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and project documents ~ Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and controlled manner ~ Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control systems ~ Minimum of High School Diploma ~ Technical Theatre or Electronics Technician formal education preferred ~ Ability to clear all background checks required for government security clearances. ~ Company Health Perks & Health Spending Account #
