Role Description This full-time, on-site Hearing Aid Specialist role is based in Hamilton, ON. The specialist will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including audiometric testing, and interpret results to recommend appropriate hearing aid solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include fitting, programming, and adjusting hearing aids, providing counseling and education on device use and hearing health, and delivering ongoing follow-up care.

The role involves maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with audiologists and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout the patient journey.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong clinical skills in Audiology and Audiometry to perform and interpret hearing assessments.
- Candidates should possess skills in conducting Hearing Tests and evaluating Speech understanding to support accurate diagnosis and fittings.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to provide empathetic, clear, and professional support to patients and families.
- Relevant certification or licensure as an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist or equivalent, in accordance with Ontario regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information in accessible terms.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a medical practice setting.
- Previous experience in hearing healthcare or a related clinical setting is an asset.
