Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, ensuring customers are informed about necessary work and options
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs, prioritize jobs, and communicate progress updates
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle condition and customer needs to enhance safety and performance
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain detailed records of all service orders
- Manage the flow of vehicles in the service lane, ensuring timely turnaround and customer satisfaction
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure their needs were met and encourage future visits
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service background is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Experience in sales or upselling services to maximize revenue opportunities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Familiarity with automotive repair terminology and dealership operations is a plus
