Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Explain repair recommendations clearly and transparently, ensuring customers understand their options.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and communicate timelines effectively.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services.
- Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that benefit the customer’s vehicle while meeting dealership sales goals.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage future business.
Experience
- Prior dealership experience is highly preferred, providing familiarity with automotive service processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience helps in understanding vehicle issues and communicating effectively with technicians.
- Proven customer service skills are essential for building trust and rapport with clients.
- Experience in sales or upselling techniques will support your success in promoting additional services.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly is required.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures enhances your ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
