Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing detailed information about recommended services
- Write detailed service orders, ensuring accuracy in describing vehicle issues and required repairs
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that benefit the customer while meeting dealership goals
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including invoicing, payments, and processing of service charges
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
- Coordinate automotive parts ordering and sourcing, communicate with suppliers, and follow up on parts availability and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair strongly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles to effectively communicate with technicians and customers
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency
- Strong sales skills with a goal-oriented mindset to meet or exceed targets
- Experience handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of automotive systems, repair procedures, and parts is highly advantageous
