Auto Stars Collision & Mechanic is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate must have previous automotive repair experience in Canada and be able to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues accurately and efficiently. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, and tire replacement
- Repair and replace suspension, steering, exhaust, engine, and cooling-system components
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify required repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment properly
- Complete repairs accurately and within a reasonable timeframe
- Maintain a clean, secure,
and organized work area
- Communicate repair findings clearly with the service advisor
- Follow all workplace safety procedures
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an automotive mechanic
- Previous automotive repair experience in Canada is required
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
- Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, engine, and general maintenance
- Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and equipment
- 310S licence is an asset but not required
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
