About JAM Billboards
JAM Billboards is a Calgary-based digital out-of-home (OOH) advertising company helping local small businesses get seen. We run digital billboard locations across the city and we believe in doing business the right way: if it's not a win-win, it's a loss.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced, self-driven sales professional comfortable with commission work to build and grow relationships with local small businesses, bringing them onto JAM's digital billboard network. You'll own your pipeline from prospecting through close, working directly with business owners to help them get sweet results from advertising that actually gets noticed.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and build a pipeline of local small business clients through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals
- Run in-person and virtual sales meetings, presenting JAM's ad packages and audience data
- Negotiate and close advertising contracts
- Maintain client relationships to encourage renewals and repeat business
- Track your pipeline and activity in our CRM
- Represent the JAM brand professionally in the Calgary and area business community
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in B2B/Direct outside field sales — media, advertising, or ad sales experience strongly preferred (OOH - Billboard Sales specific)
- Comfortable with cold outreach and resilient in the face of rejection
- Solid presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-starter who can manage their own schedule and pipeline
- Based in or near Calgary, with reliable transportation to be able to meet clients and potential clients
- Bonus if you have existing relationships with local small business owners or marketing decision-makers
Compensation
15% commission-based structure
