Baker

Monte Bakery is looking to grow our team with passionate and dedicated individuals who are interested in working in a professional bakery environment.

We are looking for a baker/pastry cook who is experienced in mixing, shaping, and baking a variety of breads and viennoiseries.

The position mainly focuses on mixing and deck-oven baking, but experience with shaping is also preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

- Mixing doughs for croissants, sourdough, baguettes, focaccia, salt bread, burger buns, and other bakery products
- Baking products such as sourdough, baguettes, salt bread, and other breads in a deck oven
- Shaping and preparing doughs and viennoiseries
- Following recipes, production schedules, and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Working efficiently in an early-morning bakery production environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1 or more years of skilled baking or pastry experience preferred
- Experience with both baking and dough shaping
- Experience working with bread and/or viennoiserie is an asset
- Experience with sourdough, baguettes, croissants, or other bread products is preferred
- Basic understanding of baking ingredients, dough development, fermentation, and baking processes




- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Willing to learn and work as part of a team

Work Schedule:

- Full-time, Permanent
- Start time: 3:00 AM
- Early-morning availability is required

Salary: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
