Duties

- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including sourdough loaves and starter-based products, following established recipes and standards
- Assist in food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
- Support overall food preparation activities, including ingredient measurement and assembly
- Assisting in tracking inventory levels
- Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer orders to maintain freshness and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas to uphold food safety standards

Requirements





- Must have previous experience in bread baking from scratch in a bakery setting
- Experience in baking a variety of breads with a robust focus on European style loaves and rolls, especially sourdough
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights as needed
- Enthusiasm for learning new techniques in baking, decorating, and food presentation
