Duties
- Deliver high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Engage with clients through friendly communication, building rapport and ensuring a positive experience.
- Upsell retail hair care products and styling services to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue opportunities.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments.
- Promote salon services and retail offerings to grow your clientele and support the salon’s business goals.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related beauty services.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon environment.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining excellent client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills to engage clients and collaborate with team members.
- Prior experience with retail sales or front desk operations is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
