Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS and food safety standards is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service
- Use POS systems like Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol laws
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times




- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist in setting up the bar for service and closing procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality experience is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements
- Solid communication skills and a personable demeanor
- Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable by law)
