Duties

- Install and repair waterproofing systems using hand tools and construction techniques to prevent water infiltration in basements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project scope and specifications.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sealing, caulking, drywall installation, or applying restoration techniques to ensure optimal waterproofing results.
- Utilize carpentry skills for framing or modifying structures as needed for waterproofing applications.
- Apply construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, or plumbing work to enhance basement durability and functionality.
- Operate welding equipment or other specialized tools for structural reinforcement when required.




- Conduct inspections to identify existing issues with moisture or water leaks and develop effective solutions aligned with schematics and technical plans.

Requirements

- Proven experience with construction projects, particularly in waterproofing or related fields such as restoration or carpentry.
- Proficiency with hand tools, caulking guns, drywall tools, plumbing fixtures, welding equipment, and flooring/tile installation tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide project execution.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and best practices in waterproofing and construction work.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail for diagnosing issues and implementing effective repairs.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials, working at heights or confined spaces as needed.
