Empowered Academy is seeking a Behaviour Clinician to provide in-home ABA therapy to children and youth, primarily supporting children with autism.
The Behaviour Clinician will work directly in clients’ homes to implement individualized ABA programs developed and overseen by a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA). This role focuses on helping children build meaningful skills and increase independence within their natural home workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized ABA therapy in clients’ homes.
- Implement treatment programs and goals developed by the supervising RBA.
- Support skill development in areas such as communication, emotional regulation, social skills, daily living, independence, academics, and behaviour.
- Follow Behaviour Support Plans and clinical recommendations.
- Collect accurate data and document progress during each session.
- Use positive,
evidence-based ABA strategies to support skill development and behaviour change.
- Generalize learned skills within the child’s home and everyday routines.
- Communicate professionally with families and the clinical team.
- Participate in supervision, training, and clinical meetings as required.
- Maintain client confidentiality and follow Empowered Academy policies and professional standards.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently in clients’ homes while remaining closely connected with the supervising RBA and Empowered Academy clinical team. Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioural needs is an asset. Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
