Job#: 3051257 : BI / Power Platform Developer Overview Our Financial Services client is seeking a BI / Power Platform Developer to support a large-scale reporting and platform transformation initiative. The successful candidate will help migrate reporting assets, build Power BI solutions, automate business processes, and support data migration activities.
- Core skills needed: SQL, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI experience; responsible for developing new reports and dashboards.
- Strong data analysis skills are required, including using SQL for data discovery, profiling, and mapping data from existing system of records to the new home-grown platform.
- Responsible for developing new Power BI reports. Strong semantic modeling skills would be a nice-to-have, and DAX experience is required for custom calculations.
- Will also be responsible for repointing existing Power BI reports to new data sources, as well as performing testing and data validation.
- Power Apps and Power Automate experience is required. The team manages a variety of forms and workflows, including system access requests, change requests, and ticketing processes. This team is responsible for building and maintaining these solutions.
- Data modeling skills would be a nice-to-have, as the team currently has limited expertise in this area.
- Banking or financial services experience is a nice-to-have, with AML/KYC experience being particularly desirable.
- Looking for approximately 5+ of experience
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
- Write complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Support data migration, mapping, validation, and testing efforts.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
- Maintain SharePoint-based forms and workflow solutions.
- Participate in report conversion and modernization initiatives.

- Strong SQL experience.
- Power BI development.
- Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience supporting reporting and analytics solutions.

- Banking or Financial Services experience.

- Data modeling.
- DAX.
- Data lineage and governance.
- Migration or transformation project experience.
