Our client is seeking an analytical and skilled Biostatistician to join their growing team in Kimberley . This hybrid role is essential for the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trial data, ensuring the integrity and validity of study results. You will work collaboratively with clinical teams, data managers, and medical writers to develop statistical analysis plans and generate high-quality statistical reports. Key Responsibilities
- Design clinical trial statistical analysis plans (SAPs) in collaboration with clinical development teams.
- Perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data using SAS or R, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop statistical tables, listings, and figures for clinical study reports and regulatory submissions.
- Contribute to the interpretation of study results and provide statistical input for scientific publications.
- Ensure compliance with statistical programming standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Review and provide statistical input on study protocols and data management plans.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Biostatistics , specifically within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS or R.
- Robust understanding of clinical trial design, statistical methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
