Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover POS, ensuring timely service
- Knowledgeably recommend menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience and drive sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, food handling, and sanitation
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout dining and service areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and café staff to ensure smooth service and support overall restaurant operations
- Support the team with bussing, running food, clearing tables, restocking, and other tasks as needed




- Take initiative to identify what needs to be done and help wherever needed; no task is beneath you when it comes to supporting the team

Skills

- 3–5 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant environments
- Excellent customer service skills with a warm, energetic attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
- Proficiency with POS systems or similar cash register technology
- Strong time management and teamwork skills, with the ability to stay calm and organized during busy service
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and order calculations
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in specialty coffee, food, and beverage; barista experience is an asset
