We are seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst Contractor to support a Data Science and Analytics team focused on AI, machine learning, fraud analytics, and data-driven initiatives. The successful candidate will help maintain project documentation, capture requirements, coordinate governance activities, and manage a centralized knowledge repository across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Document data models, data pipelines, AI/ML solutions, business processes, and data requirements.
- Gather and maintain business, functional, and data requirements from stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain a centralized documentation and knowledge-sharing repository.
- Track meeting minutes, action items, decisions, project milestones, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with data scientists, engineers, and business partners to collect and update project artifacts.
- Support model validation and governance activities, including preparation of documentation and stakeholder communications.




- Working knowledge to execute SQL and Python scripts to support analysis, validation, and documentation efforts.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or Project Coordination.
- Experience documenting data, analytics, AI, or machine learning projects.
- Strong requirements gathering and technical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and analytics concepts.
- Strong understanding of SQL and working knowledge of Python.
- Robust organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration tools is an asset.
